The Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 is a new version of the 2-in-1 rugged notebook that is designed to be used in any context. The first Model was originally launched in 2015, and is now able to offer a sophisticated level of security and usability. Toughbook CF-20 makes durability and autonomy the main force: think it can be used for up to 17 hours continuous in 2-in-1 mode thanks to the second battery integrated under the keyboard, while it can cover up to 8.5 hours in tablet mode.

The product has a a–a-1, IP65-and MIL-STD 810G-certified magnesium body, weighing 1.89 kg (950 grams for tablets only), has integrated grip, screen 10.1 “WUXGA IPS with 10-finger multi-touch capacitive, brightness from resolution 800cd/m2 and 1920×1200 and can also be used with gloves. Pen Digitizer (optional) is an alternative tool to interact with the display in all weather conditions.

Inside we found the Intel Core i5-7Y57 vPro processor with 4MB and 1.2 GHz Cache-up to 3.3 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost technology-fanless, Intel HD Graphics 615 GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and Windows 10 Pro operating system. There is no shortage of 4G LTE connectivity (optional), U-Blox 8 GPS option, Windows Hello 2MP webcam with stereo microphone, 8MP rear camera and TPM 2.0 that provides a key in hardware to encrypt and decrypt devices in isolation, ensuring a very high level of security. Magnetic stripe readers are also optional to read loyalty cards, SIMS, and membership cards.

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 can be used in six different ways: As a notebook, in conversion mode, as a tablet, hanging on a wall or arm and in vehicle mode (with support and replication pass-through antennas to receive a strong signal even on board).
