Panasonic KV-S5058 Driver – Panasonic’s A3 document scanner range has two new additions. “KV-S5078-Y” and “KV-S5058” network-compatible models are designed to deliver high-quality images quickly and thus increase productivity.

According to Panasonic, both models require less time to boot and scan faster than their predecessors. The document scanner creates scan speeds of up to 115 pages and 230 images per minute. The “Tough Feed” technology is intended to reduce congestion and double sheet feed rates. This will reduce maintenance time and costs by avoiding scanning errors and additional user work. The new durable rollers are designed by the manufacturer to increase the recommended replacement cycle to 700,000 sheets. Paper dust resistant designs should also reduce errors and cleaning cycles.

Panasonic’s new models use a three-line contact image sensor for its image quality, which is intended to provide accurate extraction of information for back-end systems. Panasonic has incorporated exclusive image processing and fine-tuning technology to improve character extraction and background lighting. It is also intended to improve optical character and barcode recognition.

Both scanners offer network functionality. Gigabit Ethernet connectivity is designed to simplify information exchange and device management tasks. The scanner also has a USB 3.1 port. Users can access Panasonic’s “Site Central Management Suite” over the network or web to configure and manage devices.
