Panasonic has launched KV-S5055C, its duplex scanner (allows to perform a leaf scan on the two sides) of which we have already advanced some features in March. This scanner in A3 reaches a scanning speed of 60 pages per minute (including both sides is 120 prints). This scanner is capable of detecting staples and glued blades thanks to Toughfeed technology, which allows to avoid problems and breakdowns in the device.

The Panasonic KV-S5055C scanner is capable of detecting different paper thicknesses (up to A3) and scanning them automatically. In addition, it allows to work with rolls of paper up to thirty meters. Scanned documents reach a resolution of 600 dpi. The KV-S5055C is designed to support large working volumes, up to 10,000 scans per day. To do this, it incorporates a paper feed tray in which up to 200 sheets can fit.

Panasonic has included in its model an automatic cleaning system of the optical sensor and the technology of the “ion jet”, which decreases the static and prevents the dust from accumulating on the paper. In the case of stapling or pasting sheets, the scanner has a button with which you can skip these documents and continue scanning. In addition, to edit documents the scanner includes Capture Plus software with which you can perform some operations easily, such as removing blank sheets, trimming documents, or automatically removing marks from paper drills.
