At the upcoming CES 2020 event, Dell will introduce its latest XPS 13 laptop that has a larger display and uses the Ice Lake processor. The latest XPS 13 will use a 13.4-inch screen with a ratio of 16:10, a.k.a. higher than before. Dell also slashed its bottom-screen bezel which made the XPS 13 look different than the previous version.
Despite having a slightly larger screen, the XPS 13 body is slightly shrinking, exactly 2% smaller. This new laptop design also makes the keyboard size larger, so is the Trackpadnya.
On paper, those differences may not look significant. But if the appearance is seen, this new XPS 13 looks very much different than The previous version, quoted as from The Verge, Friday (3/1/2020).
Not only the design is updated, but the spectrum is also more contemporary. Especially in terms of processors, which now uses the 10th generation Intel Core Ice Lake, with various variants such as the Core i3, i5, and i7.
Its RAM options are 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB, with storage of 256GB to 2TB. The screen option is FHD + 1920×1200 pixel, both touch screen and without a touch screen, as well as 4K 3840×2400 pixel touch screen option with HDR 400.
The port options are still the same, only two Thunderbolt 3 USB-C pieces (which support power and DisplayPort), the 3.5 mm audio port and the MicroSD slot. In addition to the Windows version, there is also Developer Edition that uses Linux as its operating system, precisely Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
