- Panasonic Toughbook CF-H2 Drivers & User’s Manual
The Panasonic Tablet PC Toughbook CF-H1, reintroduced in 2008 and designed for the needs of medical professionals, has gained a substitute with the highly anticipated CF-H2 index.
The new product offers a lightweight casing (only 1.58 kg) and is durably made of magnesium alloy with scratch-resistant coating. The cooling system remains passive, despite the fact that the CPU Core i5-2557M is used clearly “hotter ” than its predecessor, the Intel Atom Z540 (which thermal packets are respectively 17 and 2.4 W).
By the way, thanks to a new processor, we promised a four-fold increase in the performance of Toughbook CF-H2. The standard capacity of 2 GB RAM can be upgraded up to 8 GB, using the Intel QM67 mobile chipset. The 160 GB Hard drive can be replaced with 128 GB SSD, there is a fall protection and HDD heating system (to work at low temperatures).
The touch screen with a diagonal of 10.1 inches and a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels comes with a circular polarizing filter to reduce reflections and turn off the backlight. Optional 2-megapixel camera with autofocus, fingerprint reader, GPS adapter and HSPA + Ericsson F5521GW available, in addition to standard Wi-Fi (Centrino Advanced-N 6205) and Bluetooth 2.1.
Note that modifications to work in the field and on the walls of the medical institution will have a different name – CF-H2 Field and CF-H2 Health, respectively. Two hot-swappable batteries provide a battery life of up to 6.5 hours in Windows 7, while its parallel charging time is about 3 hours. The Tablet comes with a three-year warranty.
